Grass grows from the root structure below the soil, not from the top of the plant tissue so even though the grass on top of the soil may look dead (or even be dead) the root structure under the soil is usually fine.
Doggy Green Up! will rejuvenate the lawn by first neutralizing the soil pH bringing it to the 5.5-6.5pH that grass likes. Then the specialized microbe collection in Doggy Green Up! will convert the Uric Acid and the Ammonia into a form of nitrogen by “fixing it” that the grass will then use as fertilizer to regrow.
